Effective Date: September 2026
Welcome to expeRHEEnce, a Candle Bar®.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, participation in our candle-making experiences, reservations, Private Pour Suites, private events, purchases, gift cards, and other services offered by expeRHEEnce, a Candle Bar® (“expeRHEEnce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, making a reservation, purchasing a product, attending an experience, or otherwise engaging with expeRHEEnce, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not make a reservation, purchase a product, or participate in an experience.

2. Our Candle-Making Experiences
2.1 Wax on Tap
Wax on Tap is our relaxed, walk-in candle experience. Reservations are not required, and seating is based on availability. When guests arrive together, we will do our best to seat the group together; however, during busy periods, seating together cannot be guaranteed.
Guests select their vessel and blend up to three fragrances with guidance from an expeRHEEnce Scentologist. Once your custom fragrance has been created, your Scentologist will complete the candle-pouring process.
Wax on Tap guests pay for their selected vessel and any additional purchases at the time of their experience. Guests may pay individually or together.
2.2 Private Pour Suites
Our Private Pour experience offers a more immersive candle-making experience within one of our reserved suites:
-
Aura Suite: 2–4 guests
-
Chemistry Suite: 6–8 guests
-
Legacy Suite: 6–8 guests
Private Pour Suites are available by advance reservation only and are reserved exclusively for the confirmed group during the scheduled experience.
Unlike Wax on Tap, Private Pour guests participate in the candle-pouring process themselves under the guidance of an expeRHEEnce Scentologist.
2.3 Private Pour Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a Private Pour reservation. The deposit is calculated based on the confirmed guest count and selected experience and is applied toward the final balance, it is not an additional fee.
The remaining balance is due seven (7) days before the reservation, unless otherwise stated in your booking agreement.
Premium vessels, additional candles, food or beverage enhancements, customizations, and other add-ons are charged separately unless specifically included in the reservation package.
3. Guest Counts & Reservation Changes
3.1 Final Guest Count
The final guest count for Private Pour Suites, large groups, and private events must be confirmed at least seven (7) days before the scheduled reservation.
Once the final guest count has been confirmed, the reservation will be billed according to that confirmed count or the applicable suite/event minimum, whichever is greater.
If fewer guests attend, the host remains responsible for the confirmed reservation minimum.
3.2 Additional Guests
If your guest count increases, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate additional guests; however, additions are subject to suite capacity, staffing, seating, and availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by expeRHEEnce.
3.3 Large Groups
Groups that exceed the capacity of an individual Private Pour Suite may be accommodated through multiple suites, private venue rental, or consecutive candle-pouring sessions.
Additional minimum-spend, gratuity, deposit, and event requirements may apply and will be disclosed before your reservation is confirmed.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
4.1 Private Pour & Private Events
Private Pour deposits are non-refundable because the suite is reserved exclusively for your group and removed from availability for other guests.
Private Pour reservations may be rescheduled one time when at least seven (7) days’ notice is provided, subject to availability.
Changes or cancellations made fewer than seven days before the scheduled reservation may result in forfeiture of payments made and responsibility for the confirmed minimum guest count or contracted event amount.
4.2 No-Shows
No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or reimbursement.
For Private Pour and private events, the host remains responsible for the confirmed reservation amount regardless of actual attendance.
4.3 Late Arrivals
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation.
Our experiences follow a guided process and scheduled timeline. Late arrivals may receive a shortened experience, and guests arriving significantly after the scheduled start time may not be accommodated.
Late arrival does not qualify the reservation for a refund or reduction in price.
4.4 Weather & Emergency Closures
Reservations will generally proceed during anticipated or forecasted weather conditions unless expeRHEEnce determines that operations cannot safely continue or closure is required by local authorities or emergency officials.
If expeRHEEnce must officially close, affected guests will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or receive an applicable studio credit.
5. Food & Beverage Policies
5.1 Wax on Tap
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in our Wax on Tap area.
Food aromas may interfere with the fragrance-blending process, and outside beverages near active pouring stations may create safety concerns.
Wax on Tap guests may enjoy our complimentary Mimosas for guests 21+ and signature hot or iced RHEEfreshers™ Teas, subject to availability.
5.2 Private Pour
Private Pour guests may bring beer, wine, or champagne for guests who are 21 years of age or older. Hard liquor is not permitted.
A $15 Private Pour Beverage Service applies per reservation.
Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol responsibly, and expeRHEEnce reserves the right to discontinue alcohol service or consumption when necessary for guest or staff safety.
Complimentary Mimosas for guests 21+ and hot or iced RHEEfreshers™ Teas are also available during Private Pour experiences.
Light refreshments may be permitted within Private Pour Suites in accordance with studio guidelines.
Guests may also enhance their reservation by renting our dessert or charcuterie cart, subject to availability. Menus and pricing are available upon request.
Guests planning a celebration are encouraged to work with one of our Scentologists to discuss food, beverage, cart rentals, and other available enhancements before the event.
6. Age Requirements & Minors
Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate in candle making.
Guests under 18 must have authorization from a parent or legal guardian and comply with any required waiver procedures.
Because our experiences involve hot wax, fragrance oils, heated equipment, and other candle-making materials, children under 10 are not permitted within active candle-pouring areas.
Youth groups may be subject to separate guest limits, supervision requirements, and event policies.
7. Assumption of Risk
Candle making involves materials and equipment that may include hot wax, heated vessels, fragrance oils, wicks, electrical equipment, and finished candles involving an open flame.
By participating, guests acknowledge and voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with candle making, including possible burns, spills, skin sensitivities, fragrance sensitivities, allergic reactions, and incidental contact with candle-making materials.
Guests are expected to follow all instructions provided by expeRHEEnce Scentologists and staff.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, guests agree to release and hold harmless expeRHEEnce, its owners, employees, contractors, Scentologists, and agents from claims arising from the ordinary risks of participation, except where prohibited by law or resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The source Terms contained a similar assumption-of-risk and liability provision for hot wax, fragrance oils, burns, allergies, and related studio risks.
8. Candle Pickup
Custom candles require time to cool and solidify before they can safely leave the studio.
Please allow approximately three hours from completion of your candle-making experience for pickup and finishing.
Candles completed too close to closing may not be available until the next business day.
Completed candles will be held for up to 14 days after your experience. Candles remaining after the pickup period may be donated, repurposed, or otherwise disposed of at our discretion.
Shipping may be available for an additional fee.
For optimal fragrance performance and burn quality, we recommend allowing your candle to fully cure for 7–10 days before lighting.
9. Candle Vessels & RHEEpurpose™
For safety and quality assurance, guests may only pour into vessels provided or specifically approved by expeRHEEnce. Outside vessels are not accepted for candle pouring.
Returning guests may participate in our RHEEpurpose™ Program by bringing back an eligible, clean, previously purchased expeRHEEnce vessel.
All returned vessels are subject to inspection for cracks, chips, heat damage, or other conditions that could affect candle safety. We reserve the right to decline any vessel that we determine is unsuitable for reuse.
Eligible RHEEpurpose participants currently receive 15% off their next qualifying pour. Program benefits and eligibility are subject to change.
10. Custom Candles & Returns
Because candles created during our candle-making experiences are customized by each guest, including fragrance selection and vessel choice—custom candles are final sale and generally cannot be returned or exchanged.
If you believe there is a quality or workmanship issue with your candle, please contact us so that we can review the concern and determine an appropriate resolution.
11. Damaged Shipped Products
If an item arrives damaged, please contact info@experheence.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide your order information and photographs of:
-
The damaged product
-
The shipping packaging
-
Any visible shipping damage
After review, eligible products may be replaced or re-poured at our discretion.
12. Online Orders & Retail Products
All prices are stated in U.S. dollars and are subject to change.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit quantities, discontinue products, refuse suspected fraudulent transactions, or cancel orders when a product is unavailable.
Product photographs, colors, vessels, fragrance descriptions, and other representations are provided for reference. Because many of our products are handcrafted, slight variations may occur.
The original Terms similarly reserved the right to change pricing and address product availability and pricing errors.
13. Shipping
Available shipping options, charges, and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout or communicated when shipping is arranged.
Processing times are separate from carrier delivery estimates.
expeRHEEnce is not responsible for carrier delays, weather disruptions, incorrect addresses supplied by customers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
14. Fragrance Sensitivities & Allergies
Fragrances and candle-making ingredients may cause sensitivities or allergic reactions in some individuals.
Guests with known fragrance sensitivities, allergies, respiratory concerns, skin sensitivities, or other relevant conditions should review available ingredient information and determine whether participation or product use is appropriate for them.
Please inform your Scentologist of known sensitivities before participating.
15. Candle Care & Safety
Guests are responsible for following the Candle Care instructions provided with their candle.
Among other precautions:
-
Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before use.

We will seek appropriate permission before intentionally using an identifiable guest's image for our advertising or promotional purposes where consent is required.
Guests taking photographs or video must respect the privacy and experience of other guests and may not disrupt candle-making activities or staff operations.
