I’m Syreeta...founder of expeRHEEnce, a Candle Bar™, a space created with purpose, built with passion, and poured with intention.
After losing my only son, Jalen, I found myself searching for small moments of peace within unimaginable grief. Lighting a candle became one of those moments. The glow, the fragrance, and the stillness gave me space to breathe, reflect, and simply be.
Over time, that simple ritual became a powerful reminder: even when life changes forever, there is still light to be found, joy to be experienced, and beautiful moments to be created.
That truth became part of the vision for expeRHEEnce.
I didn’t create this space simply to make candles. I created it to make moments, a place to exhale, connect, laugh, celebrate, honor, create, and be present. Every detail has been intentionally designed so that you leave with more than something beautiful to take home; you leave with a memory.
Jalen will forever be woven into the heart of this story. His life and legacy inspired me to turn love into something that continues to create joy, connection, community, and purpose.
Today, when I look around expeRHEEnce, I don’t just see what I’ve lost. I see what love inspired me to build. And for the opportunity to share it with you, I am deeply grateful.
Every candle poured. Every laugh shared. Every milestone celebrated. Every person who walks through our doors becomes part of this story while creating one of their own.
